Java / Angular Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Java/Angular Developer in Westlake, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Angular
* Design and implement RESTful APIs
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure efficient and effective solutions
* Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
* Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback
* Ensure the responsiveness and overall performance of applications
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
* Implement unit testing and maintain automation standards
* Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices
* Work closely with backend teams to consume APIs developed in Java Spring Boot

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 4+ years of experience in web application development
* Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
* Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, and Angular
* Knowledge of open-source technologies and web/API security
* Experience with MVC design, micro front-end strategy, and microservices
* Proficiency in building RESTful APIs
* Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API best practices
* Strong understanding of Git workflows
* Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git/GitHub
* Knowledge of cloud solutions, serverless architecture, and containerization
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
* Knowledge of secure coding standards
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills in a collaborative environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
