Description
We are looking for a Senior Network Operations Engineer to join our team in Marysville, Ohio, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced automotive environment.
This is a long-term, multi-year assignment that requires an experienced individual to ensure the seamless operation, monitoring, and maintenance of network systems across multiple locations. The role involves onsite work and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the stability and efficiency of critical network infrastructure.
This role is onsite 5 days/week in Marysville, OH
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite network support for 80 locations.
Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as ThousandEyes, NetBrain, NetFlow, and PingPlotter.
Respond to network outages, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors to restore smooth operations.
Perform reviews of log files to assess network health and identify potential risks.
Conduct data center floor support, including equipment installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
Collaborate on projects involving the design, configuration, and replacement of network equipment.
Manage incident resolution, problem-solving, and change management processes for network systems.
Assist Network Engineering teams with the design and configuration of switches, routers, and other network devices.
Provide exceptional customer support and remote assistance for network-related issues.
Ensure 100% network uptime by monitoring systems and proactively addressing performance concerns.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting mid to large-scale corporate network environments.
Proficiency in working with Cisco systems, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, and wireless 802.11 environments.
Strong knowledge of network security principles and SD-WAN technologies.
Experience coordinating with multiple vendors for remote site support.
Familiarity with data center floor operations and network equipment installations.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Operational expertise in troubleshooting, configuration management, and system upgrades.
