Description

Lead Technician- 5+ years of Lead or Management experience in a DC Five Level 2s Five Level 3s Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment Summary: Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission Run/Label/Stage Power & Networking Cables DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning) Follows procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Prepares, stages, sets up, and performs basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, standard procedures, and with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Physical audits of datacenter assets Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Required: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. Job Responsibilities: Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports Qualifications: Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training preferred Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time

Team needs to be open to Red Oak A side and B side DAYS The lead will be Monday-Friday 7:am - 4:00pm Former MSFT experience is PREFERRED. Look for GDCU on their resume or ask them about that experience. This is the ticketing system. Look for former Dell/HP techs - a lot of them worked in the MSFT DCs in the past.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $49.00/hr.
