Job Overview:
The IT Security team is responsible for safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information and systems. This role serves as a cybersecurity lead, providing technical leadership to enhance the organization's security posture through secure architecture, process design, and operational lessons learned. The position also involves shaping cybersecurity controls for both IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems to address evolving global cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cybersecurity architecture and processes to mitigate risks, including cloud security.
  • Protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of corporate information.
  • Escalate unresolved cybersecurity exposures or noncompliance to management.
  • Provide thought leadership and innovative ideas to prioritize and mitigate security risks.
  • Act as a cybersecurity advocate and manage vendor relationships as needed.
  • Consult with business units and IT management to ensure security responsibilities are understood and enforced.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and pursue relevant certifications and education.
  • Develop and enhance processes for system log reviews and active defense strategies.
  • Design and implement tests to monitor the effectiveness of cybersecurity defenses.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and misuse of corporate assets.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call security response on a rotational basis.
  • Mentor junior technical staff and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Provide technical leadership for project development and implementation.
  • Coordinate and report on internal investigations of security violations or compliance reviews.
  • Support regulatory compliance requirements, including NERC CIP and SOX.
  • Participate in special projects involving external personnel or companies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience in IT, including knowledge of information systems, security controls, and cybersecurity.
  • Seven years of experience required for lead-level positions.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Control System (ICS) security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with security across various asset types, including desktop, mobile, server, and network systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in cybersecurity or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications are highly desirable.
  • Active Secret Clearance is a plus.

Pay Range: $50 - $57 Hourly on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
