Title: Product Manager (Data Analytics and Reporting)
Terms of Employment
Direct Hire - Full-Time, Permanent
This position is fully remote.
Candidates must be comfortable working EST hours. Candidates must be based in EST or CST.
Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is transitioning from a "chaotic" product environment to a structured, high-performing Scrum organization. As the Product Manager for Reporting and Analytics, you will be the first Product Manager for a brand-new Scrum team dedicated to Performance Marketing. Currently, there is a significant disconnect between business stakeholders (who have high-energy ideas) and the data science team (who need structured requirements). You will be the "bridge" translating marketing strategy into actionable data science tasks while protecting the team from "steamrolling" by opinionated stakeholders.
You will
Establish new processes for a newly formed Scrum team, moving away from direct C-level interruptions to a disciplined, prioritized backlog.
Advocate for business needs by translating complex marketing performance questions into technical language that data scientists can execute.
Partner with the Head of Performance Marketing to analyze campaign performance, identify optimization "tweaks," and build visualizations that communicate impact both internally and externally.
Work directly with data scientists to prioritize modeling work, ensuring clear timelines and trade-offs are communicated to the C-suite.
Evolve our reporting capabilities to ensure complex data is intuitive, actionable, and visually compelling for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
You must be able to speak fluently to both a Head of Marketing and a Data Scientist.
5+ years of product management experience with a heavy emphasis on Marketing Analytics and Data Visualization.
Deep experience in Agile/Scrum environments; you know how to build a team from scratch and implement process discipline without stifling innovation.
You are comfortable "speaking up" and holding your ground against enthusiastic, opinionated business leaders.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in environments where the roadmap isn't fully set and requires frequent pivoting.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Direct experience working with Data Science teams on predictive modeling or lead scoring.
Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, and their practical application in reporting or marketing workflows.
Experience in FinTech or highly regulated lead-generation environments.
Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and Figma.
Experience working with Data Science teams on predictive modeling or lead scoring.
