Job Title: AEP Data Architect
Location: Remote

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AEP Data Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, marketing, and technology teams to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing data models that power customer experiences, personalization, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- AEP Solution Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end data architecture in Adobe Experience Platform, including ingestion, identity resolution, schema design, and activation across multiple channels.
- Data Modeling: Define and maintain XDM (Experience Data Model) schemas, data sets, and relationships to support unified customer profiles.
- Data Integration: Architect integrations between AEP and enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, CDP, data lakes, third-party platforms) using APIs, batch ingestion, and streaming pipelines.
- Identity Management: Implement and optimize identity stitching, profile unification, and governance strategies for a 360-degree customer view.
- Data Governance & Security: Define policies for data quality, security, consent management, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Performance Optimization: Ensure scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines and queries within AEP.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to align data architecture with personalization, segmentation, and campaign activation needs.
- Best Practices: Establish architectural standards, documentation, and best practices for AEP adoption across the enterprise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) including Real-Time CDP, Customer Journey Analytics, and Adobe applications integration.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and APIs.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and big data frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, etc.).
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data lakes/warehouses.
- Knowledge of identity resolution, customer data platforms (CDP), and marketing technology ecosystems.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and consent management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
