What You Will Be Doing
Typical duties include:
Leading FRACAS efforts for the EOTS program to identify and prioritize failure modes and trends
Score Field Failures for each Line Replaceable Components (LRCS)
Recognize opportunities for improvement based on failure data, sustainment costs, and support the development and implementation of system design improvements.
Manage the failure investigation of failure trends to identify root cause, corrective action, and implementation of the corrective action to improve field performance.
Assess the effectiveness of incorporated corrective actions.
Interface with the Reliability Engineering Team, Depot Team, and Program Management to convey failure trends and the status of failure investigations.
Manage FRACAS database functionality
Support customer operation hours reconciliation and depot repairs reconciliation.
Generate and submit monthly FRACAS reports to customer
Perform Reliability Growth Modeling and assessments on system hardware based on hardware field performance data
Developing, coordinating and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments constructs.
Interfacing with multi-disciplined / cross-functional teams to influence design for Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability.
Participating in detailed design activities, technical interchange meetings, program reviews, and supplier support.
Participate in Corrective Action Boards (CAB), Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Yield Improvement Team (YIT).
Review of Specifications, Drawings, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and supporting Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
Additional responsibilities may include reliability predictions, mission reliability modeling, maintainability analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis supporting domestic and international customers.
