Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Developer/Lead to join our team to design, develop, and implement robust BPM solutions using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in creating scalable and efficient Pega applications, managing complex workflows, and integrating Pega with external systems to support business process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX is $120k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement BPM solutions utilizing the Pega Platform to address business needs efficiently.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Pega applications, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Configure case types, data models, decision rules, and integration points within Pega to enable seamless process automation.
- Implement business logic using Pega rules such as Activities, Data Transforms, Decision Tables, and Flows.
- Integrate Pega applications with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, and other connectors to facilitate end-to-end business processes.
- Conduct unit testing, debug functionalities, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments ensuring quality and reliability.
- 10+ years of experience with Pega, Pega PRPC (preferably the latest versions) in designing and developing BPM solutions.
- Knowledge of Pega frameworks such as Customer Service, Smart Dispute, or similar industry-specific solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and web technologies for system integration.
- Hands-on experience working with SOAP/REST services, XML, and JSON to enable data exchange and system interoperability.
- Understanding of BPM concepts, case management, workflow automation, and process modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in leading development teams (for Lead roles) and coordinating end-to-end implementation projects.
- Pega certifications such as Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).
- Experience working in multiple industry domains such as banking, insurance, or telecom.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
