Key Responsibilities
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with strong expertise in Advanced Analytics and proven experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Optimization. The ideal candidate will apply advanced statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and optimization models to solve complex business problems related to demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Apply mathematical optimization, operations research, and machine learning techniques to solve real-world supply chain challenges (e.g., stock replenishment, network optimization, distribution planning).
- Partner with cross-functional teams including supply chain, operations, finance, and IT to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Design and deploy analytical models and dashboards for real-time decision-making and performance tracking.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose actionable insights for improving efficiency.
- Work with large datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the modeling process.
- Communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Master s or PhD in Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Optimization projects with a focus on Inventory and Supply Chain Management.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Julia.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and optimization libraries (Gurobi, CPLEX, Pyomo, OR-Tools).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and working with large-scale datasets.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
