Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to support advanced development and testing of RF systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either RF hardware design and testing or RF propagation modeling, with a preference for radar system experience. This role requires hands-on expertise with RF test equipment and proficiency in MATLAB for modeling and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Experience with anechoic chamber operation
  2. Develop test plans for radar and countermeasure systems to the key responsibility section

  • Design, develop, and test RF hardware components, with a focus on radar or communications systems.
  • Conduct RF propagation modeling and analysis, emphasizing electromagnetic field behavior beyond basic link budget calculations.
  • Utilize MATLAB for simulation and modeling of RF propagation scenarios.
  • Operate and interpret results from RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate RF systems into larger platforms.
  • Document test procedures, results, and technical findings clearly and accurately.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:
  • RF hardware design and testing at the component level (radar preferred).
  • RF propagation modeling with a focus on electromagnetic field behavior.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB for RF modeling and simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with radar systems and signal processing.
  • Familiarity with RF system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance for RF systems.
