We are seeking a Senior Cyber Regulatory Technical Program Manager to drive cybersecurity regulatory implementation and assurance.
We are looking for a candidate that is proficient in cybersecurity regulatory compliance programs, knowledge of recent cybersecurity regulations, experience implementing regulatory requirements, and excels at delivering results at Microsoft or a similarly complex organization. They should also be able to deliver results through influencing across multiple engineering and legal partners. Proficient cross-collaboration skills and the ability to positively influence teams are vital. Commitment to staying abreast of current cybersecurity regulatory trends, and the ability to adapt to quickly evolving business needs and organizational changes are also important.

Responsibilities:
- Own, design, implement, and future-proof cybersecurity regulatory compliance programs for increasing regulations and scale, including integrating existing compliance programs into security processes and culture.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement or change processes or controls for regulatory compliance.
- Increase Microsoft's security posture through execution and oversight of regulatory compliance, including governance, reporting, and monitoring
- Staying abreast of emerging security trends, threats, and regulations and providing recommendations for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:
Required/minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 2+ years of experience working on cybersecurity regulation implementation
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU Dual Use Regulation, and/or other export control regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide either proof of their country of citizenship or proof of their U.S. permanent residency or other protected status (e.g., under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) for assessment of eligibility to access the export controlled information. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid passport. Lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees may verify status using other documents, where applicable.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, OR product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing regulatory cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 6+ years of experience with cybersecurity regulatory implementation processes
- Experience with continuous monitoring, assurance of IT systems, and audit practices for regulatory compliance purposes.
- Efficient project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work efforts, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and drive accountability across project teams.
