Job Description:

Our client is looking for a proactive LEAD CMDB ServiceNow Developer with strong CMDB Administrator skills, who excels at cross-functional collaboration and translating strategic vision into actionable platform enhancements. As a solo contributor, you'll act as a liaison between technical execution and business priorities as well as the ServiceNow Platform Team. You will make recommendations and process improvements without owning formal decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement CMDB Health Dashboards

Implement CMDB 360

Map Services and Applications ~ 600

Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CMDB, and Service Catalog, as it relates to CMDB

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend platform configurations

Liaise with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance) to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet

organizational needs

Liaison Supporting CMDB interests as it relates to adjacent department projects implementing SAM and HAM

Provide insights and recommendations for workflow automation, performance optimization, and user experience related to CMDB

Support integration efforts with third-party applications and data sources (API's)

Deliver detailed documentation, testing protocols, and training materials for platform updates

Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as needed for specialized deployments

Milestone Deliverables (sole responsibility of this position):

Create an assessment of needs for existing CMDB and identifying priori?es: Due in 2 weeks

Create a plan and ?meline to address identified needs from assessment: Due it 3 weeks

Implement CMDB Health Dashboards: Due in 4 weeks

Implement CMDB 360: Due in 6 weeks

Provide ongoing training and support to CI Analysts and department leaders - Daily

Other ServiceNow deliverables will be discussed as ?me permits

Daily/Weekly expectations:

Plan and Lead CMDB meetings daily/weekly

Timelines and deliverables will be met as indicated in project plan and ?meline

Roadblocks will be reported to the supervisor for each project, no later than the Wednesday's project meeting

Additional overview:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend platform configurations.

Coordinates with ServiceNow support team on new or modifies existing applications within the platform.

Plans and develops test data to validate new or modified applications within the platform.

Evaluates alternative solutions and recommends and implements appropriate applications design.

Interviews functional and technical staff to gather documenta?on required for analysis of current system application requirements.

Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's service by offering suggestions or direction as a member of the team.

The successful candidate must work be able to work independently and as a Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current Local Candidate. Not negotiable.

2. 100% onsite for 8 weeks; then hybrid schedule, 1 day in office per week (defined by supervisor).

Schedule: M-Th, 7a-5:30p. Not negotiable.

3. 10+ years of ServiceNow development experience

4. 10+ years of CMDB Service and Application mapping

5. 10+ years with ServiceNow CMDB development and administration

6. 5+ Expert Knowledge of ITIL, CMDB relationships, and PPM workflows

7. 5+ years in systems analysis, design, and programming.

8. 5+ years integra?ng and managing multiple third-party data sources for CMDB (API'S)

9. 5+ Expertise with ServiceNow scripting and tools (JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer)

10. 3 years experience as a Project Lead for ServiceNow implementations and Administration

Preferred/Special Skills:

Comfortable working independently and as a team representing platform capabilities across the org.

Clear communicator, demonstrating professional organization, technical documenta?on, and monitoring progress using Service-Now.

Self-starter, analytical problem-solving abilities, collaborative proactive/positive team player, resourceful and innovative.

Proven ability to influence through recommendations and stakeholder engagement.

Experience in ServiceNow development, integra?on, and implementation in the government sector.
