Managing Business Consultant SAP Solution Architect
Pittsburgh, PA (onsite)

Overview

Client is seeking a Managing Business Consultant SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise in integrating SAP BTP solutions with SAP ECC. The role requires strong technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to design, implement, and present SAP solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate SAP BTP solutions with SAP ECC focusing on SAP Build Code, API, Cloud Connector, PostgreSQL, authentication, authorization, data encryption, and compliance requirements.

  • Apply SAP integration strategy and best practices to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant solution delivery.

  • Present architectural designs and recommendations to stakeholders including business users, IT managers, and executives.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and validate solution designs.

  • Influence decision-making by presenting clear, compelling architectural options.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial accounting and controlling needs.

  • Design, implement, and deploy SAP FICO solutions to meet business goals.

  • Ensure SAP FICO systems operate efficiently and integrate seamlessly with required third-party systems.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on SAP FICO, providing guidance and support to users and team members.

  • Work closely with project management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Identify and resolve technical and functional issues using analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Balance technical requirements with business constraints.

  • Guide the project team on functional and technical aspects of the solution.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of SAP BTP and ECC integration, SAP Build Code, APIs, Cloud Connector, PostgreSQL, authentication, authorization, data encryption, and compliance requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of FI/CO with multiple end-to-end implementations in ECC 6.0.

  • In-depth understanding of FI/CO business processes and integration with other SAP modules.

  • Expertise in SAP integration technologies including SAP Interface Framework, EDI, PI/PO, API, and SAP Cloud Platform.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to varied audiences.

  • Experience presenting architectural designs and recommendations to business and IT stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience with system configuration and collaboration with technical consultants.

  • Strong client communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

  • Team management and project management experience.

  • Attention to detail ensuring accurate data integration and reliable system operation.

  • S/4HANA experience and SAP certification are a plus.
