Job Title: Maximo Field Service Management (FSM) / Maximo Mobile Consultant T&D MAS 9 Implementation & Support

Project Overview:
The client is implementing IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) for its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business operations. The implementation includes Maximo Field Service Management (FSM) and Maximo Mobile modules to enhance asset maintenance, workforce scheduling, field mobility, and reliability across utility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Maximo FSM and Maximo Mobile modules within the MAS 9 framework.
Translate T&D operational processes into Maximo workflows, including work order management, scheduling, dispatching, and mobile execution.
Configure FSM capabilities such as crew management, route optimization, scheduling rules, and technician assignments.
Set up and optimize Maximo Mobile applications for field technicians, including offline functionality, inspection forms, work orders, and asset data capture.
Integrate FSM and Mobile with MAS 9 core modules Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, and Service Requests.
Ensure alignment with utility asset hierarchies, safety compliance, and regulatory standards.
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in IBM Maximo FSM and Maximo Mobile (preferably MAS 8/9).
Deep understanding of Maximo Asset Management 7.6+ and MAS 9 suite structure (Manage, Monitor, Health, Assist, Predict).
Experience configuring work management, service requests, job plans, routes, and preventive maintenance.
Proficiency in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Automation Scripting (Jython/Python), and SQL.
Functional / Domain Skills
Strong background in Utility or Energy & Power (Transmission & Distribution) asset management.
Understanding of field service operations, crew logistics, and regulatory compliance in utilities.
Ability to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and map business processes to Maximo capabilities.
Experience supporting large-scale Maximo implementations (preferably in a regulated environment).
