Project Overview
We are hiring Structured Cabling Technicians for a long-term project at a new Amazon Robotics Warehouse in Wilmington, NC. The project is set to kick off in June and will involve the installation of low-voltage infrastructure to support advanced automation systems in a high-tech warehouse environment.

We are seeking candidates of all experience levels-from entry-level techs eager to learn, to experienced professionals with a background in structured cabling. Technicians with commercial cabling experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optic cabling
- Build and label telecom racks, patch panels, and cable trays
- Route cable through ceilings, walls, and floors in a commercial setting
- Read and interpret blueprints and network diagrams
- Follow safety protocols and project specifications
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements
- Basic understanding of structured cabling practices
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in physically active environments
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial cabling experience (offices, warehouses, retail, etc.)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- BICSI Installer certification
- Experience with fiber optic installation and testing
Schedule & Duration
- Full-time hours, Monday-Friday
- Project begins in June and is expected to run long-term with potential for follow-up work
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Weekly pay through TEKsystems
