SAP Solution Expert (GTS - Global Trade Solutions) - Remote

Role : SAP Solution Expert - (GTS)

Location : Remote

The International Trade Solution (GTS) Architect will be responsible for determining integrated system design of required business scenarios and processes with focus on International Trade Compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA for Global Trade Solutions to ensure compliance in the aerospace customer requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing SAP and non-SAP feeder systems, including S/4HANA, to maintain full compliance and efficient trade management.
• Implement compliance check functionalities such as embargo control, sanctioned party list screening, and legal control checks.
• Support SAP GTS in conducting preference determination, customs processing, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of evolving regulations and integrate necessary system adjustments to remain compliant.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting strategies for SAP GTS-related queries and issues.
• Integration with document management systems.

Specific Skills Required:

• Expertise in SAP GTS: In-depth knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services, including integration with SAP S/4HANA, and familiarity with its application areas such as Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management, and Intrastat.
• Aerospace Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the aerospace industry's regulatory requirements and ability to tailor SAP solutions to meet these demands.
• Trade Compliance Management: Familiarity with trade compliance checks and procedures, including trade compliance documentation and ensuring adherence to legal controls.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to review functional and technical specs. Ability to utilize SAP tools and applications effectively, including mastery of program scheduling and document transfer processes within SAP GTS.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Capable of assessing intricate trade scenarios and leveraging SAP configurations to facilitate seamless international trade operations.
• Communication and Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders including business, compliance, and technical teams.
• Certification in SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS is highly desirable.

Other Qualification:

• A minimum of five (5) years prior professional consulting or equivalent business process industry experience.
• At least five (5) years of hands-on systems configuration experience within your given SAP component.
• Successful completion of at least three full life cycle implementations of S/4HANA v2019 or later.
• Successful completion of the rollout and localization of a global template.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary.
• Willingness to travel as needed to client locations.
