Advisory Hub - Scrum Master/Delivery Lead

Role: Delivery Lead (Scrum Master - AI-Enabled Delivery)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented Delivery Lead (Scrum Master) to guide Agile teams delivering modern Fullstack applications built with React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, and Azure. This role combines Agile delivery leadership with a strong understanding of AI-assisted development and team enablement. The Delivery Lead will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure engineering teams effectively leverage AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot and related GenAI tools) to improve productivity, quality, and delivery consistency. The successful candidate is expected to coach teams not only in Scrum practices but also in responsible and effective use of AI tools across the SDLC-helping identify when generated code or suggestions are reliable, optimizing AI-driven workflows, and reinforcing best practices for code quality and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation

• Conduct and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with the Product Owner and technical leads to maintain clear sprint goals, refine backlogs, and track progress.
• Ensure all team members and Supplier personnel have the context, information, and tools needed to deliver effectively.
• Identify and remove impediments to maintain delivery momentum and quality.

AI-Enabled Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Encourage and guide the team in using AI assistants (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or internal GenAI tools) during development, QA, and operations.
• Promote responsible use of AI throughout the SDLC-from requirements analysis to testing and documentation.
• Review AI-generated outputs collaboratively with developers, helping identify when generated code or suggestions are suboptimal or incorrect.
• Capture and share effective "AI recipes" or workflows that enhance team velocity and reduce repetitive effort.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to monitor productivity and code quality improvements through AI adoption.

Delivery Oversight & Reporting

• Monitor and track sprint execution, velocity, and quality metrics; communicate insights transparently to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to Agile guidelines, project standards, and PwC Delivery Methodology (PDM).
• Coordinate across front-end, back-end, and DevOps teams to align on delivery milestones and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate collaboration and continuous feedback across distributed teams.

Team Coaching & Leadership

• Coach team members in Agile principles, self-organization, and value-driven delivery.
• Encourage experimentation with AI tools while maintaining strong software craftsmanship standards.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and document lessons learned to inform future sprints and delivery cycles.

Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, including at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven ability to lead Agile ceremonies, track progress, and drive predictable outcomes in complex delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools in software development, QA, and/or operational workflows.
• Understanding of how AI tools contribute at various SDLC stages (coding, testing, documentation, deployment).
• Ability to assess the quality, relevance, and safety of AI-generated code or documentation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability, and Agile metrics tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards, Power BI).
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications preferred: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master.
• Experience working in Fullstack environments (React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, Azure) is a plus.

Must Have: Scrum Master experience, AI assistant familiarity (Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent), Agile delivery facilitation, backlog management, sprint reporting and metrics, impediment removal, stakeholder communication
Nice to Have: Experience designing or refining AI "recipes" or workflows, Agile certification (CSM/PSM/SAFe), familiarity with CI/CD and GenAI-assisted documentation/testing
