Job Title- S/4 Security/IBP consultant

Position is in CA and requires 50% onsite (expenses will be paid) they will absolutely consider all local candidates first so please stick to candidates located in California to start Rate seems a little low but let me know what you're finding (this is the rate the client gave to us and we have very slim margins any higher and we'll have to request an exception which does not always work out).

This role requires 50% onsite presence, and travel expenses will be covered. (preference on local candidates)

Seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Security Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to design, implement, and manage role-based security models across both platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in SAP authorization concepts, Fiori security, and user access management, as well as familiarity with IBP security configurations and integration touchpoints with S/4HANA.

Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain user roles and authorizations in SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP environments.

Implement and manage Fiori tile/catalog security within S/4HANA.

Coordinate with functional and technical teams to translate business needs into secure system access.

Administer user provisioning, role assignment, and access changes using standard SAP tools (SU01, PFCG, etc.).

Support IBP-specific security setup, including permission models, user access to IBP applications, and integration with S/4HANA security layers.

Collaborate with SAP Basis and Identity Management teams to ensure secure SSO and identity federation across systems.

Participate in GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) activities including SoD analysis, risk mitigation, and audit support.

Document security design, configuration, and access control policies.

Provide end-user support and training as needed.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of SAP Security experience, including at least 2 3 years in SAP S/4HANA.

Experience with SAP IBP security setup and integration.

Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, roles, and user administration.

Experience with Fiori security and tile/catalog management.

Familiarity with GRC Access Control, including SoD analysis.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
