A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated SharePoint Consultant to join their team. In this role, the SharePoint Consultant will be responsible for supporting the redesign and build of the HR Risk Office SharePoint Sites.


***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week at one of the following locations: Winchester, VA (preferred location); McLean, VA; or, Pensacola, FL.***


Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with stakeholders from HR Risk, Vendor Management, and Finance teams to gather requirements and understand their needs for the redesigned site




  • Design user-friendly and efficient layouts for the SharePoint site that integrates data visualization tools (for example, PowerBI and Tableau)




  • Build and configure SharePoint site features, including document libraries, lists, workflows, and other functionalities that enhance collaboration and data management




  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as PowerBI and Tableau to provide insights and analytics for decision-making processes




  • Ensure best practices in design, implementation, and governance of SharePoint and BI tools




  • Provide training and support to team members on how to effectively use SharePoint, PowerBI, and Tableau tools




  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project deployment




  • Continuously monitor and optimize site performance and user engagement based on feedback




Qualifications:




  • Proven experience as a SharePoint developer/consultant with a strong portfolio of previous projects




  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint features, functionality, and best practices




  • Proficient in data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI and Tableau, with a proven track record of developing dashboards and reports that drive business outcomes




  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in the context of SharePoint and BI tools




  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team




  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement




Desired Skills:




  • Experience in HR, Risk Management, Vendor Management, or Finance sectors




  • Relevant certifications in SharePoint, Power BI, and Tableau




  • Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and tools
