Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack engineer who can develop and maintain web applications while collaborating on platform architecture and team initiatives. The full stack engineer will be hybrid in Durham, NC .

Requirements for the Full Stack engineer include:

- Build and maintain efficient backend services and responsive front-end components to support core application functionality

- Identify system bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance speed, scalability, and overall efficiency

- Investigate and resolve software bugs to ensure a stable and reliable user experience

- Support the development of unit tests and automated testing frameworks to maintain high code quality

- Create and update documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and continuity

Qualifications for the Full Stack engineer include:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in full stack development

- Proficient in back-end technologies such as Node.js and Java

- Solid experience working with SQL and relational databases

- Strong front-end development skills, specifically with ReactJS and Typescript

- A deep understanding of database design and data modeling principles

- Experience creating and managing APIs and microservices

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Compensation for the Full Stack engineer includes:

- Hourly rate: $45 - $60hr
