Job Details

Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

The role involves overseeing production operations to meet schedule targets and ensure timely delivery of components. Collaboration with various departments is essential for continuous improvement and maintaining product quality according to established processes.

Responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with team members to achieve quality, timely delivery, cost targets, and personnel development objectives.
- Directing and scheduling the workforce while managing departmental expenditures within budget.
- Analyzing production key performance indicators and proposing initiatives for improvement.
- Leading continuous improvement projects and implementing best practices.
- Interfacing with other departments on quality and financial matters.
- Providing supervision to Production Supervisors and approving personnel changes.
- Addressing material shortages, equipment issues, and personnel concerns to minimize disruptions.
- Initiating process improvements and meeting cost reduction goals.
- Notifying management of safety, personnel, or operational issues promptly.
- Ensuring departmental compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and ISO standards.
- Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and OSHA regulations.
- Familiarity with lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to exercise judgment in decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Oracle is beneficial.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma required; bachelor s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 4 years in high-volume manufacturing.
- Demonstrated skills in management, planning, supervision, administration, and associate relations, preferably in a Medical Device manufacturing environment.
