Job Title: Lead Salesforce Developer

Responsibilities:
The Lead Salesforce Administrator is charged with managing, administering and implementing the Affinaquest managed package within the Salesforce ecosystem. This position should have experience with Affinaquest or large-scale managed packages and configuring custom applications such as Salesforce Maps, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Blackthorn Events Management to support the University Advancement operations including the FSU Foundation, Alumni Association, Seminole Boosters and the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, FL. This position requires gathering/documentation, technical design, site layout/user interface, database design and development using Apex and other tools common in the Salesforce cloud.
This position also assists with researching and resolving data and data warehouse issues.
Develop and Maintain Salesforce Environment.
Develop, test, implement, maintain and help administer Salesforce and Apex, Lightning Component Framework or Visualforce integrations and applications that interact with the University's fundraising system through vendor APIs, the University Advancement websites and various external data sources. Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis activities and prepares detailed business requirement documents, technical specifications, user guides and other types of system documentation. Oversee integration and migration of existing tools to the Salesforce platform. Create customizations in salesforce to enhance the efficiency and business needs of the FSU community. Create and maintain applications and automations using Apex, Boomi and/or other tools. Effectively utilize version control software such as git and Salesforce Devops for proper source code and CI/CD pipeline management. Ensure software is thoroughly tested and documented prior to production release and develops with a goal of sustainability.
Support Custom Applications and Integrations
Works with customers and technical staff to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Participate in code reviews to ensure accuracy, consistent use of programming standards, and efficiency. Translate requests into creative, scalable and efficient technical designs.
Assist with Data Infrastructure
Protects confidential information. Communicates regularly with technical, applications and operational staff. Assist with the ongoing maintenance and support for the Foundation University Advancement data warehouse and associated products. Assist when needed in the identification and resolution of data quality and data reconciliation issues.
Serve as Salesforce Team Manager
Adheres to Information Services change management policies and procedures. Supervises work and priorities of other Salesforce Admins and Developers. Other duties as required.
This position is eligible for remote work due to the highly skilled nature of the work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and a minimum of two years as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer in a professional IT environment, or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to 6 years.
