Description
We are looking for a PC Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Sacramento, California. This role is focused on providing technical support to a school district, including device setup, maintenance, and basic repairs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Chromebooks and a strong ability to manage hardware-related tasks in educational settings.
Responsibilities:
Unpack, label, and document new devices for students and staff, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Clean, reset, and configure Chromebooks to prepare them for redeployment.
Perform basic hardware replacements such as screens, batteries, and keyboards for Chromebooks.
Assist with the installation and removal of wireless access points under the supervision of network engineers.
Support other technicians in addressing on-site technology needs within the school district.
Requirements
Familiarity with computer hardware and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Previous experience working with Chromebooks is preferred.
Ability to safely lift and transport equipment as needed.
Comfortable working in educational environments and interacting with staff and students.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation and punctuality to meet work schedules.
