About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workday Product Manager / Technical Project Manager to lead the design, delivery, and adoption of a companywide Onboarding Workflow & Dashboard.
You will define and own the product vision for automating milestone communications, improving knowledge sharing, and delivering a centralized onboarding dashboard creating a unified experience from PreDayOne through the First 90 Days. You will also oversee initiatives in worker conversion compliance automation and visa data accuracy enhancements.
What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities) Onboarding Workflow & Dashboard Delivery
- Partner with HR, L&D, and POps to understand challenges and design solutions.
- Deliver a centralized onboarding dashboard providing managers with visibility from PreDayOne through Day 90.
- Implement automated Slack notifications for milestones (7/45/90 days), key tasks, and exceptions (hire rescinds, start delays, hardware issues, training noncompletion).
- Create a centralized manager resource hub with templates and guides to reduce reliance on informal knowledge sharing.
- Oversee automation of onboarding plan generation (via Workday or Slack). Compliance & Data Accuracy Enhancements
- Automate Slack/email communications for worker conversions (rehire comms, Day 1 IT & POps emails).
- Improve visa data accuracy by converting freeform fields to boolean formats in ATS/Workday integrations. General Product & Program Management
- Build strong relationships with business partners, aligning solutions with strategic priorities.
- Track and communicate project metrics, escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain product roadmaps, Jira stories, UAT plans, and project timelines.
- Coordinate across engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Lead change management activities, including demos, training, and communications.
- Identify and mitigate project risks early.
- Develop and manage Jira stories, project plans, UAT test cases, and coordinate UAT with crossfunctional stakeholders.
Skills: What We Look For in You (Requirements)
- 5+ years in HR technology product or technical project management, including stakeholder management and crossfunctional delivery.
- 5+ years implementing Workday solutions and integrating HR technology capabilities.
- Proven ability to deliver employee and manager experience improvements in onboarding, compliance, or HR workflows.
- Experience defining and rolling out new processes and systems in fastpaced environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Agile experience with strong Jira skills for backlog management, story creation, sprint planning, and tracking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging executive stakeholders.
Nice to Haves
- Technical experience integrating Workday with collaboration tools (e.g., Slack) or middleware platforms (e.g., Workato).
- PMP or other formal project management certification.
- Workday Extend experience.
- Experience leveraging AI for HR-specific use cases (e.g., personalized onboarding content).
