Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Piscataway, New Jersey. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication abilities and a passion for problem-solving in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. As a Contract to permanent position, this opportunity offers the chance to demonstrate your expertise while contributing to the success of the organization. This role is going to Audio/Visual focus assisting on setting up conferences and events:

Responsibilities:

Maintain computer hardware and peripherals by performing upgrades, replacements, and ensuring proper documentation and inventory management.

Offer guidance and support to Tier 1 team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Apply corporate processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change management to efficiently resolve technical issues.

Manage user accounts throughout their lifecycle, including onboarding, modifications, and departures.

Troubleshoot a wide range of end-user issues, providing in-depth analysis for web and mobile applications.

Handle escalated tickets related to server and network challenges, ensuring timely resolutions.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards by closing tickets promptly and delivering exceptional customer service.

Demonstrate understanding of network systems, servers, PCs, databases, and proprietary platforms to address technical problems effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and related troubleshooting.
Familiarity with corporate IT processes, such as Incident, Problem, and Change management.
Ability to manage user accounts and perform lifecycle tasks efficiently.
Solid understanding of network systems, servers, and databases.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root-cause analysis.
Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
