Job Summary:
As the Cybersecurity Analyst, you will support the company s overall cybersecurity infrastructure and operational effectiveness. This will be accomplished through cybersecurity preparedness, threat prediction and detection, incident response and recovery. You will play a vital role in effective cybersecurity governance, policies, processes and guidance for the enterprise, and will be involved in both design & engineering and operational activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and/or build secure information technology (IT) systems, with responsibility for system and/or network development. Perform highly-specialized review and evaluation of incoming cybersecurity information.
- Manage the collection and analysis of information from various application, conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities, and develop and/or recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures.
- Develop, modify, and execute company policies and procedures that affect cybersecurity operations and ensure compliance (e.g. NERC CIP, Sarbanes Oxley).
- Develop cybersecurity indicators to ascertain the status of the operating environment.
- Identity and access management.
This position is part of a job family (IT Cybersecurity Analyst/Senior IT Cybersecurity Analyst), where experience is the determining factor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, computer information systems, MIS, or engineering is preferred. A combination of associate degree, military or professional cybersecurity experience and cybersecurity certification (CISSP, GAIC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, CISM) will be considered.
- 4+ years Cybersecurity experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Desirable skills would include any of the following:
- Active Directory Design and Management
- Cloud, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
- Scripting experience, PowerShell or .NET (VB or C#)
- Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Data security
- Network Access Management, DNS, DHCP
