Job Description:

Join our Client's engineering team in Roseau, MN, as a Test Technician supporting Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) and Structural Testing. In this hands-on role, you'll help develop and validate the performance of snowmobiles through mechanical testing, data acquisition, and analysis. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including NVH, Structural Test, Chassis, and Powertrain Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute NVH and mechanical testing on vehicle components and systems.
  • Set up instrumentation, collect data, and perform basic analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during product development.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate test equipment and lab systems.
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams to support design improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support team goals.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in varied environments (lab, shop, field, outdoor) and extended hours during peak testing seasons.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant technical or testing experience.
  • Familiarity with sound measurement and data acquisition systems (training provided).
  • Experience with CAD models and interpreting mechanical drawings.
  • General fabrication skills (e.g., welding, machining).
  • Passion for snowmobiles and/or powersports industry experience.
  • Ability to operate snowmobiles or willingness to learn.


Work Environment
  • Fast-paced, hands-on testing environment.
  • Seasonal travel (up to 25%), primarily during winter months.
  • Exposure to high-noise environments and outdoor winter conditions.
  • Collaboration with engineering and product development teams.
