Location: Atlanta, GA 30334 (Hybrid) Term: 12 Months Contract
Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Programmer Analyst for the Special Projects Team within the Office of Information Technology.

This role involves maintaining, developing, and enhancing Mainframe applications. The consultant will play a key role in the full system development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications.

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DBAs and business analysts.

  • Develop and execute unit and integration test plans.

  • Participate in acceptance and integration testing.

  • Provide on-call production support.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Mainframe development
  • COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM
