IT Operations Support/Technical Support (Onsite + Travel)

Come join the exciting world of professional auto racing in an IT Operations Support role. This is an opportunity to be part of a professional racing team supporting their operations both in-office and at races around the United States.

This role requires travel to race sites 2-3 times a month so that you can ensure seamless operations for our client s racing team.

Location: Salisbury, North Carolina; will consider Mooresville, North Carolina as well.

This job expects to pay about $35 45 per hour. The role does not offer benefits.

What You Will Do:


  • Image, deploy, and maintain onsite Windows and Linux workstations.
  • Deploy and manage firewalls, routers, and layer 3 switches.
  • Maintain Active Directory integrations and manage wireless point-to-point devices.
  • Provide comprehensive support for on and offsite team members.
  • Ensure the integrity of system backups and conduct regular testing.
  • Maintain IT/AV infrastructure in conference rooms.

What Gets You The Job:


  • College degree in computer related field or 4-5 years of experience in an IT position.
  • Experience with system administration and application deployment in Windows and Linux
  • Experience with routing and networking
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Knowledge of backup and testing procedures
  • Ability to collect and organize end user feedback
  • Experience with Microsoft Powershell
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation / Terraform
  • Experience with Git / Version Control
  • Knowledge of all phases of software/infrastructure maintenance development lifecycles: quality assurance, implementation, testing, release, and the continued iteration of those products
