Technical Writer

We are partnered with Non-Profit, a leader in the Education industry, in the search for a Technical Writer to join their growing Technology Solutions & Special Projects team!

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our technology meets compliance standards and is well-documented for the internal teams.

Type: 6-month contract with extensions and potential to get hired

Location: Sacramento based / Remote

About the Role:

• Partner with the Platform Enablement and Product Development Teams to document processes, procedures, and technical specifications.


• Draft and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and other technical documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy.


• Assist the Sr. Director of Technology Solutions & Special Projects with achieving industry compliance standards.


• Effectively translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.


• Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to understand complex systems and functionalities.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of technical writing principles and best practices.


• Knowledge of HECVAT and TR-RAMP


• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).


• Ability to grasp and translate technical jargon into clear and concise language.
