Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-priority, multi-agency IT initiative. You ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle from planning and execution to stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and final delivery. This role requires hands-on leadership, strategic thinking, and strong coordination across agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multi-agency project coordination, communications, and reporting.
- Lead planning, scheduling, risk management, and change control.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and process analysis.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable business solutions aligned with Commonwealth standards.
- Mentor junior PM staff and manage cross-functional teams.
- Maintain compliance with project documentation, standards, and reporting metrics.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven success managing complex IT projects with delivery cycles of 8 12+ months.
- 6 years of IT Project Management and any experience with Government agencies is a plus.
- Strong background in business process re-engineering, system implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies, change management, and project governance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
