Role Summary/Purpose

The Talent Leader will champion our people strategy, processes and programs. This role will have responsibility for Talent and Leadership development for GE Vernova Corporate & Global Functions across the enterprise, including talent management, succession planning and performance management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Accelerate the readiness and deployment of leadership capabilities through a continuous, structured, and rigorous year-round methodology for developing high potential talent
  • Leverage talent analytics to derive insights on workforce risks and needs especially among critical roles and operating leader pipelines
  • Maximize business impact and individual growth through deployment of talent; maintain a deep knowledge of executive key talent strengths/capabilities
  • Lead a robust and focused Talent Review processes to ensure a planful approach to development of key talent
  • Facilitate robust succession and development action planning, particularly for critical roles and high potential succession candidates
  • Develop and deploy People Leader Standard Work in order to facilitate capability for supporting employee development at all levels - through clarity of responsibility, skill-building, and impactful resources and tools
  • Partner with Chief Diversity Officer to ensure DEI principles are embedded in all talent processes
  • Oversee onboarding and assimilation for senior leadership roles in alignment with enterprise standards

  • Leverage resources and tools to deliver best practices for development planning, assessment, coaching, mentorship and formal learning programs (in partnership with the Learning & Development team)
  • Lead standards for identifying high potential talent and other talent designations to more easily detect workforce needs/risks
  • Coordinate performance management activities on an annual basis using enterprise resources/support
  • Advise on organization design based on business priorities and future trajectory
  • Facilitate early career development experiences based on enterprise/business programs
  • Partner with HR for HR Leader to support development of professionals across all areas of HR including advancing the function as talent developers with engagement across the talent enterprise

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Significant experience in human resources
  • Strong experience in talent management
  • Open to candidates globally with a requirement for working in US time zone, extensive travel with extended stays in the US

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits. This posting is expected to expire by July 4, 2025.
