Role: Test Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration:12+Months
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document comprehensive test cases and user stories to support structured manual testing and automated testing procedures.
- Collaborate closely with business clients and vendors to gather requirements and specifications for test case development.
- Conduct interviews with business clients to ensure a thorough understanding of system functionalities and user needs.
- Employ risk-based testing strategies to prioritize testing efforts and maximize test coverage.
- Utilize test case management tools such as JIRA to organize and track testing activities effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing test cases for software applications, preferably in the electrical utility or transmission & distribution domain.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including risk-based testing principles.
- Proficiency in using test case management tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the electrical utility, transmission, or distribution industry.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB
