Job Title: Business Analyst Wire Processing, Payments & MTS

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in wire processing, payments, and Mortgage Transfer Service (MTS) operations. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring seamless processing, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Analyze current wire processing, payment, and MTS workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.

Gather and document business requirements by engaging with stakeholders, including operations, IT, compliance, and external partners.

Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process models.

Collaborate with IT and technical teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements or new solutions related to wire transfer, payment processing, and MTS.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and internal controls.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to support process optimization.

Provide support during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and facilitate smooth transition to production.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payments industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Assist in troubleshooting issues related to wire, payment, and MTS processing, and recommend corrective actions.

Document procedures and provide training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking, financial services, or payments industry.

Strong understanding of wire transfer processes, payment systems, and mortgage transfer operations.

Familiarity with banking software, payment platforms, and related technologies.

Knowledge of compliance standards such as AML, KYC, OFAC regulations.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CFA.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of payment processing standards (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT).
