Best to look for candidates who have experience clearing technical tests on platforms such as codility, hackerrank, leetcode, etc. We have generally observed that the candidates who have not been exposed to such 3rd party online tests fail to pass even if they are overall skilled candidates.

Description:
The Lead QA Automation Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and automation practices. This is a hands-on role primarily focused on developing and enhancing our test automation frameworks, tools and automated test cases. Collaborate with QA and Software engineers to improve productivity and test execution time through automation, tools, and other best practices. Lead initiatives for the team to improve on automation and streamline processes. Mentor and support other QA team members, coordinate internal knowledge sharing sessions and implementation of best practices. Able to handle multiple projects and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, Implement, Enhance Test Automation Frameworks and Tools: Design, Implement UI, API, and Backend Automation Frameworks and Tools to eliminate regressions and ensuring the highest product quality standards. Lead the improvement and implementation of automation best practices which will ensure robust, scalable, and low maintenance automation tests. Work with Scrums teams to maintain reliable automated regression suites. Research and Implement Proof of Concepts for new tools, methodologies and processes which will help meet the goals of continuous quality deployments. Drive adoption of new tools and methodologies.
