Description

We are looking for a meticulous and organized PC Technician to assist with a short-term document management project. This Contract position is based in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and involves working on-site to organize and upload files into a SharePoint system. If you are detail-oriented and experienced with document management tools, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a focused and impactful project.

Start date: May 19 OR May 26

Responsibilities:

Review and organize digital files to ensure they are properly categorized and easy to locate.

Rename documents to align with standard naming conventions and improve clarity.

Upload files into SharePoint folders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational guidelines.

Establish and maintain a logical file structure within the SharePoint environment.

Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and ensure data integrity throughout the project.

Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and resolve any file inconsistencies.

Requirements

Previous experience working with SharePoint or similar document management platforms.

Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently within tight deadlines.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

Familiarity with computer hardware and general IT systems, printers and scanners

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
