SUMMARY:



The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the organization's information technology and technology development functions. The CIO ensures all technology-related initiatives align with organizational goals and partners strategically with the C-suite and Board Members to define both short-term and long-term technology roadmaps. This role plays a critical part in enhancing, optimizing, and driving business transformation, technological innovation, and overall performance of the organization's technology departments, which include Corporate IT, Data, Enterprise Applications, Software Development, and Cybersecurity teams.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Team Leadership:



  • Build and develop high-performing IT and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Direct and guide various teams with diverse skillsets, including Data Engineering, Business Applications, Cybersecurity, and Corporate IT.


Technology Strategy & Vision:



  • Define and implement the company's technology strategy and vision, focusing on emerging trends and technologies that can provide a competitive advantage.

  • Promote creativity and synergy across technology teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, and Finance to deliver modern, innovative, and technology-driven solutions.


Technology & Infrastructure Management:



  • Oversee the reliability, security, and scalability of all company-wide technologies.

  • Manage the performance and maintenance of IT infrastructure, data architecture, and business applications.


Cybersecurity Management:



  • Lead the development, implementation, management, and maintenance of the organization's cybersecurity architecture, policies, and procedures.

  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect digital assets, data privacy, and information content.

  • Continually assess and improve the organization's security posture and compliance frameworks.


Compliance & Risk Management:



  • Ensure all IT and technology practices adhere to relevant regulations and standards, managing associated risks effectively.

  • Lead information security audits and requests, from initial questionnaires to the final remediation of findings.


Software & Product Development:



  • Define processes for software and product delivery, supervise the development and enhancement of technology products and services, and ensure solutions meet customer needs and market demands.


Project & Program Management:



  • Lead and oversee large-scale IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Develop programs to increase technology adoption within digital advertising and related operations.


Budget & Vendor Management:



  • Manage the technology and IT budgets, ensuring investments align with financial goals and deliver maximum value.

  • Cultivate relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.


Board & Stakeholder Engagement:



  • Collaborate with C-level executives and business units to ensure technology initiatives support overall business strategies.

  • Prepare and present business cases to persuade board members and stakeholders to evaluate, adopt, and implement cutting-edge technologies and modernized programs.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT and technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of building and managing technology departments (15-40 team members) across Data, Cybersecurity, Business Applications, Software Development, and Corporate IT.

  • Experience leading initiatives for IT infrastructure, software development, data management, and cybersecurity.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to inspire and guide large teams.

  • Proven success managing large-scale IT projects, legacy system upgrades, enterprise applications (ERP, CRM), digital transformation (Cloud & AI), and cybersecurity.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage budgets and financial performance within an IT and technology context.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:




  • MBA or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in IT Management, Cybersecurity, or Project Management.

  • Prior experience as an IT executive in Advertising Services, AdTech, Media & Broadcasting, or Entertainment.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and vendors, including NetSuite, Salesforce, Rapid7, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Wide Orbit, ect.
