Position: COBOL Developer

Location: Florham Park, NJ

Duration: 12 Months contract position

Responsibilities:

  • COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL/ PROC on IBM mainframe.
  • FIS OMNI
  • Requires programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs.
  • In specific cases, knowledge on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out).
  • Mandatory Skills 10+ years relevant client experience
  • Mainframe COBOL experience
  • Proficient in Change Man, Control-M, SPUFI, QMF, CLISTs, REXX, INSYNCH UTILITIES
  • Experience with Mainframe CICS REST Web Service
  • Experience with Mainframe JSON and XML
  • Experience with OmniPlus recordkeeping system
  • Experience with FIS
  • Analytical experience
  • Proficient in multiple data environments including DB2 and VSAM files
  • Proficient in JCL, SQL, CICS command level
  • Experience with MVS, TSO, ISPF
  • Proficient with AGILE and SCRUM methodology and ability to work in a team environment
