Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in Roseland, New Jersey. In this role, you will be working in a dynamic environment where your primary responsibilities will include maintaining system performance, developing automation tools, and planning for future growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address incidents and minimize system downtime.
Enhance system performance and efficiency by analyzing and implementing improvements.
Design and create automation tools to facilitate routine tasks such as deployment, scaling, and testing, thereby increasing reliability and reducing potential for human error.
Proactively plan for future growth by forecasting resource needs and ensuring the system's capability to manage increased demand.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and rectify issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Document system architecture, processes, and incident management procedures clearly and systematically.
Undertake additional tasks as delegated by the management team.
Requirements
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
Experience with Citrix Technologies
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
Expertise in DELL EMC Technologies
Knowledge of Dell Technologies
Skill in AB Testing
Understanding of Active Directory
Experience in Automation
Proficiency in AWS Technologies
Knowledge of Backup Technologies
