We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune SME Engineer to support and enhance Mobility Services for a large enterprise environment. This role requires strong technical depth in endpoint management, Intune engineering, and automation, along with experience supporting and designing scalable IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Surface OS builds, deployment automation, and validation processes.

  • Provide L3 engineering support for Intune, Windows Autopilot, Windows OS issues.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Implement workarounds, process improvements, and automation using PowerShell.

  • Support endpoint security/hardening efforts with security and compliance teams.

  • Customize Windows OS builds for Autopilot + Azure AD environments.

  • Manage Intune Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Defender settings, Firewall rules, etc.

  • Support lifecycle management of Windows devices (iOS/macOS experience is a plus).

  • Package and deploy applications using PSADT (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit).

  • Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and OS update strategies.

  • Support SCEP/NDES certificate-based authentication workflows.

  • Monitor Intune health, performance, and scalability.

  • Develop automation to enforce compliance and streamline deployments.

  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across engineering teams.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, MDM/MAM policies

  • PowerShell scripting & automation

  • Windows OS build customization

  • Enterprise app packaging (PSADT)

  • Patch management & endpoint compliance

  • SCEP/NDES certificate workflows

  • Strong documentation and troubleshooting capabilities

  • Experience working in large enterprise environments
