Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture
Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, or Vue.js (optional but preferred)
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational database
Familiarity with RSpec, MiniTest, or similar testing frameworks
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git
Understanding of API development, security best practices, and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in healthcare, education, or enterprise software environments
Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines)
Experience with background job processing tools (Sidekiq, Resque)
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2)
