Job Description
We're seeking a motivated Junior EDI Coordinator to join our growing IT operations team and support critical electronic data interchange functions. This entry-level role offers excellent exposure to EDI systems and processes while providing hands-on experience with business-to-business data transactions. You'll work closely with experienced EDI professionals to maintain trading partner connections, troubleshoot routine issues, and support daily operational activities that keep our business running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform daily administrative tasks to support EDI operations including monitoring transaction flows and system status
• Maintain detailed logs and update EDI-related records to ensure accurate documentation and tracking • Assist with troubleshooting routine EDI errors by gathering diagnostic information and coordinating with senior team members
• Support EDI maintenance activities such as updating trading partner profiles and managing system documentation
• Verify transaction statuses and follow up on failed or delayed EDI transmissions
• Conduct basic testing of EDI transactions under supervision to ensure data accuracy and system functionality
• Assist in maintaining EDI map libraries including version control and documentation updates
• Communicate professionally with internal departments and external trading partners regarding EDI-related issues
• Provide support for onboarding new trading partner connections and maintain existing relationships • Monitor EDI system performance and report any irregularities or concerns to management
• Assist with generating reports on EDI transaction volumes, error rates, and system performance metrics • Support documentation updates and process improvement initiatives within the EDI team

Required Experience/Skills
• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Basic understanding of EDI concepts, transaction sets (such as 850, 856, 810), and data mapping principles
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also handling independent tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed procedures accurately
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes quickly
• Professional demeanor when communicating with external trading partners and vendors

Nice-to-Haves
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise software platforms
• Previous experience with EDI software or B2B integration platforms
• Understanding of supply chain processes and business-to-business transactions
• Basic knowledge of XML, CSV, or other data formats used in business communications
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or materials industry
• Previous customer service or vendor relationship management experience
• Coursework or training in business systems, data management, or information technology

Education
Associate's degree preferred in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Equivalent work experience in administrative or technical roles will be considered.
