Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions across Finance, HR, Student, and IT departments.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and data integration needs for the analytics platform.
• Translate institutional goals into data and dashboard requirements leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility, prioritize features, and align solution design with business value.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability, ensuring alignment with project goals and grant compliance.
• Provide guidance on best practices for data governance, security, and reporting standards.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training documentation for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in data/analytics projects.
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience working on Microsoft Fabric (or comparable modern data platforms).
• Hands-on understanding of Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
• Experience in ERP environments, preferably with Workday (Finance, HR, Student) or similar systems.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within a structured timeline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in higher education or grant-funded projects.
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Certification(s) in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Microsoft Data/Analytics tools.
