Position: JD Edwards (JDE) Pre-Sales Consultant

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Pre-Sales Consultant with strong functional expertise to support our sales and solutioning efforts across existing and prospective JDE accounts. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of JDE functional modules, a strong understanding of customer requirements, and the ability to work closely with sales and delivery teams to design winning solutions.
This is an onsite role, with preferred locations in Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, or potentially Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Act as a functional expert in JD Edwards (JDE) applications during the pre-sales lifecycle.
- Understand customer business needs and map them to appropriate JDE solutions.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations, presentations, and solution overviews to prospective clients.
- Partner with internal sales teams and delivery leads to develop tailored proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with JDE practice and ecosystem.
- Stay informed of updates, enhancements, and roadmap developments in the JD Edwards product line.
- Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solutioning workshops as needed.
- Ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to delivery upon contract closure.
Qualifications
- Strong functional knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) applications (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, etc.).
- 10+ years of experience in JD Edwards functional consulting, with at least 5-7 years in a pre-sales or solution consulting role.
- Proven experience engaging directly with enterprise clients and delivering business-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite with clients and internal teams as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an JDE Partner or similar service provider.
- Familiarity with modern JDE deployment models (on-premise, cloud-hosted, hybrid).
- Strong relationships with JD Edwards practice or field teams are highly desirable
