Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance specialist specializing in Salesforce to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing quality assurance practices for large-scale projects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment within the life insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead testing efforts for large projects, ensuring alignment with established standards and practices.
Create and maintain test plans, schedules, and documentation to support testing activities.
Develop and execute both manual and automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business requirements.
Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams to ensure seamless delivery of project milestones.
Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as AccelQ and Selenium.
Ensure traceability between business requirements, technical specifications, and test cases.
Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address quality assurance concerns and implement solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of high-quality deliverables.
Perform audits and reviews to ensure adherence to agile and defect management processes.
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on leadership roles.
Strong expertise in Salesforce and its related testing methodologies.
Proven ability to create and execute test plans, cases, and schedules.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as AccelQ, Selenium, or equivalent.
Proficiency in manual testing, including writing and executing test cases.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with teams.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and defect tracking tools.
Background in insurance or financial services is preferred.
