PeopleSoft Developer/Administrator

Location: 90% Remote (within the U.S.), 10% On-site in Austin, TX*travel will not be reimbursed

Duration: 12 months + potential extension

Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer/Administrator to support and enhance a large-scale PeopleSoft Financials environment. This role involves performing system upgrades, applying regular updates, administering environments, supporting integrations, and resolving technical issues across various PeopleSoft modules and infrastructure components.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials (e.g., CAPPS or equivalent centralized systems)
  • 10+ years working with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and web services for third-party system integration
  • 10+ years experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, application tuning, deployment (including use of STAT)
  • 10+ years experience developing XML/BI Publisher reports
  • 8+ years of experience installing PUM images using Update Manager & Change Assistant
  • 8+ years PeopleSoft administration experience configuring app servers, web servers, and process schedulers
  • 8+ years troubleshooting PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), Oracle DB, Tuxedo, WebLogic
  • 8+ years working in a Linux/RedHat environment with Oracle 19c or higher
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2
  • 8+ years with PeopleSoft development tools using PeopleTools 8.51 or higher

Preferred:

  • 5+ years administering Quest STAT for PeopleSoft deployments
  • Experience with custom modules such as Education Materials, Grants, and Cash Receipts

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure full PeopleSoft 9.2x environments using PUM, Change Assistant, and DPK
  • Apply monthly updates, retrofits, and critical security patches for Linux and Windows servers
  • Administer and monitor PeopleSoft environments, tuning performance and addressing system alerts
  • Provide production support for custom PeopleSoft modules, including EMAT, TGIF/Expense Reports, and Cash Receipts
  • Resolve fluid approval workflow issues and configure new workflows for the travel/expense module
  • Analyze compare reports during upgrades and manage reapplication of customizations
  • Build and maintain PeopleSoft environments, including downloading and configuring new PUM images
  • Support system integrations with external enterprise applications
  • Automate administrative tasks and train internal technical teams
  • Perform troubleshooting across the stack including databases, servers, schedulers, and PeopleTools interfaces
  • Implement improvements to streamline recurring and manual tasks

Work Environment:

  • 90% remote (within the U.S.)
  • 10% on-site in Austin, TX
  • Travel, per diem, and living expenses are not reimbursed
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required with prior approval
