Location: Charlotte, NC (Full-time, Direct Hire)

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems, data, and infrastructure against cyber threats. Responsibilities:
  • Information Security Expertise: Leverage your 7-10 years of experience in information or cybersecurity within technology and/or financial services. Familiarity with asset management or financial services is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate deep knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies, including but not limited to:
    • Firewalls
    • Intrusion detection/prevention systems
    • Network operating systems
    • Identity management
    • Database activity monitoring
    • Encryption
    • Content filtering
    • Mainframe security
  • Project Leadership: Previous experience in leading complex IT projects is essential.
  • Microsoft Office 365 E5 Suite: A strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 E5 suite of products and services, including Purview, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Network Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and architectures. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) is crucial, especially in low-latency networks.
  • Monitoring and Automation: Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, as well as automation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business users and other technology team members to define requirements, perform detailed analysis, and develop workflow designs.

Certifications and Software Experience:
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or related certifications are a plus.
  • Authentication and Security Protocols: Familiarity with multifactor authentication, SSO, SAML, and policy agents.
  • In-Depth Security Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of security protocols and principles.
  • Programming Skills: Python or R experience is advantageous.
  • ServiceNow: Familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Network Hardware/Software Solutions:
    • Cisco routers and switches
    • Cisco ACS (Access Control Server)
    • Cisco wireless controllers and access points (APs)
    • Cisco VPN concentrators
    • Palo Alto cloud delivery services and cloud-native protection (NGFW solutions)
  • Cloud Certifications: Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar certifications.
  • Data Platforms: Experience with Snowflake in Azure or AWS is a plus.
