Job Description
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience required
Senior Project Manager role focused on project delivery rather than PMO
Compliance background required, particularly in AML, KYC, and Sanctions
Candidates will be working within Global Markets
Must be able to create project plans, manage stakeholders using PowerPoint, and address issues
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing
Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to analyze content deeply and assess the broader portfolio
Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and "no surprises" approach in communication
Ability to drive progress issue-by-issue and ensure deadlines are met
Experience managing inter-department dependencies (e.g., Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit)
Ability to plan, organize, and work well both independently and in a team setting
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving positive and sustained change
Demonstrated ability to think critically, strategically, and analytically, and to problem-solve creatively
Should be proactive and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Experience in regulatory programs a plus
Markets knowledge (e.g., risk and controls, trade lifecycle, products, etc.) a plus
Consent order experience is a plus

Overview:
Markets Transformation is working on the remediation related to the Consent Order. The Senior PM/PMO is expected to provide project management support for the program by:
Preparing concise Market activity/progress reports adjusted to the audience
Providing checks and challenges on activity/progress reports by other functions
Utilizing best practice PMO methodology (e.g., maintain plans, risk and issues, etc.) that fit stakeholders' needs
Driving end results of the project as a representative of Markets
Facilitating remediation-related engagement with the Markets product lines
Proactively tracking project progress against goals
Possessing the knowledge, skills, and experience to be able to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming
Clearly articulating problems, bringing the right people together to solve problems, and knowing when they have been properly addressed and closed
Promoting partner involvement through effectively communicating project status across a varied set of stakeholders
Defining, teaching, and enforcing the use of good project management practices (i.e., resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled)
