Job Details

Position: Application Engineering Analyst II
Duration: 3 months to start
Location: Remote
Compensation: $55-70/hr.
Work Requirements: , Holders or Authorized to Work in the US.

Responsibilities:

Support an Enterprise Slack environment with close to 10,000 active users, 40 workspaces and thousands of channels
Resolve elevated support requests
Identify and document new support categories so they can be then be implemented in our self-service portal
Identify and document opportunities to automate support requests
Identify and document opportunities to shift support request categories to our help desk
Participate in the resolution of production incidents and time-sensitive requests
Work on sensitive requests with the highest level of confidentiality and privacy
Author and maintain documentation for operational process, policies and runbooks

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with Slack administration in a large, Enterprise Grid environment (at the scale of several thousand of users)
  • Advanced proficiency with Slack user roles and permissions
  • Advanced proficiency with Slack Connect
  • Disciplined and autonomous, comfortable context switching and adapting often as priorities change
  • Excellent English language skills: you are a comfortable public speaker and are used to writing in-depth application how-tos, documenting standard operating procedures, and producing user-facing documentation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Kanban, comfortable working in iterative methodologies
  • Experience with Work Management platforms such as Jira, Airtable and Trello
  • Experience with IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Management
  • Experience with Knowledge Management platforms such as Google Workspaces and Notion
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
