Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Tester with extensive experience in quality assurance and testing of financial systems, including modernizing legacy applications. This is a critical role supporting a high-visibility state project, requiring a detail-oriented professional who can ensure system functionality, performance, and security through robust testing strategies.

Key Qualifications:

• 10 12 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on financial systems.
• Proven experience in testing financial applications, including legacy-to-modern system transitions.
• Deep understanding of both front-end and back-end architecture to design effective test strategies.
• Proficient in manual, automated, and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Skilled in writing and executing automated test scripts to ensure consistency, repeatability, and accelerated delivery.
• Experience planning and executing sprint-level, integration, and regression testing in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical skills to identify failure patterns and recommend corrective actions.
• Capable of prioritizing test scenarios and developing detailed, efficient test execution plans.
• Proficient in defect tracking, reporting, and triaging.
• Adheres to Quality Engineering best practices and helps drive improvements in testing strategies and processes.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
• ISTQB Certification is preferred.
